Too Busy Cheering on the USA!

It's been awhile since we've had anything to post because we have been enthralled with the Olympics. I LOVE the Olympics and am amazed at the talent of the athletes. If only I had a morsel of the talent that some of those people have. My best shot at the Olympics would have been track and field, but it turns out being a total cluts isn't the best thing. In Jr. High I broke my wrist running track...yea that's right, running backwards during my FIRST warmup and stumbled in a hole in the field and caught myself with a backward wrist. OUCH...and that ended my Olympic dream of being a track star! There was gymnastics, I would say I was good, but then again comes the clutsiness...guess you can't be an Olympian if you can barely do a backhandspring and are taller than 5 foot 2. Maybe I should have started swimming! Seems it's too late now since all Olympians are only an average age of 20! Oh well, here's to living my Olympic dream through our children...someday...and watching it when it comes around every 4 years. GO USA!!!

That post makes me laugh, only because watching all the olympians do their thing makes me wish I had taken up SOMETHING. If I could do it know, I would totally do swimming... and no, not just because of Michael Phelps... although he IS amazing! Although, I don't know if I would like the side affects of swimming, HUGE shoulders.. no chest.. idk maybe it would be worth it. Sorry for the forever long post. Signing off :)
