Just a Boring Update!

It’s that time of year when everyone is busy amongst the hustlers and bustlers of Christmas and we are no different! I also feel like I stare at a computer screen all day long at work and the last thing I want to do is get back on once I get home! So I’m sorry for not “keeping up” with our blog. That and I hate our camera so I never take pictures. I hear Christmas gift! (hint, hint Ethan!) And frankly blogs are boring without pics…admit it. But I just wanted to give a quick update! Maybe pics to come?!?! Depending on how well my hint gets noticed! So I’ll be boring on this post and just give the highlights…

So during the past month we have been super busy. We were able to go home for Thanksgiving and give “Thanks” with our families, which was great. I need to bum some funny pics of “THE DUKES” bowling from my sister. We also moved to a new apartment. We really like it. We haven’t gone to our new ward yet, but I’m sure it will be great! We are Sunbeam teachers and thought it would be hard for our “kids” to get new teachers for 3 weeks just to have to do it again once the new year started. We are nice like that! So we’ll see! We hear it’s great, but it’s hard to leave a ward we really have grown to love.

Just after moving we were able to welcome ALL of Ethan’s family to Cali on their vacation. We were able to go to Disneyland and to the beach…it was freezing but kids being kids they still played in the water. I told them they can’t leave that impression of the ocean on their kids and they better come back in the summer when it’s better weather. But it was still a great time!

We are planning on going back to Utah for Christmas too! I just hope the weather holds up for us to make the drive! I am super excited not only because it’s Christmas and that means presents and great Christmas treats, but we will also be able to catch up with some of my family I haven’t seen in years at the DUKE FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY!! WHOOT WHOOT! And also see our friends Mike and Andria from PA! Good Times! Listen to this small world. So Mike and Andria went to Law School with us in PA and neither of them are from Utah, Andria- Virginia and Mike-Lousiana, but Andria’s sister lives 3 houses up from my brother in Kaysville….say what! Crazy! And they will be there for Christmas so we get to see them! Also one of Ethan's friends is getting married the Saturday after Christmas so we will be able to catch up with old friends there too. It will be a great trip!

Anyway sorry for the long post, but I feel a little bit better getting caught up.
