Sweet Grandma Duke

There comes a day when you get the news you don't want to hear, but have been waiting for. My sweet Grandma Duke has passed away. She has been an inspiration to my entire family and she will be dearly missed. I am happy to know she is happy and finally reunited with her soulmate. She missed my Grandpa very much and would talk about him often.

I will always have cherished memories of Grandma! My favorite was to see her doing what she loved to do most, camping! She always had the best stories. I can just imagine a big tent and camp fire and smores gathered with family and friends, with grandpa there to welcome her and him saying, "We've missed you and have been waiting for you!" Grandma loved nature and everytime I see a hummingbird I will think of her. She has a feeder outsider her kitchen window that she would just sit and enjoy the birds that came to it.

I was lucky enough to have a grandma that loved to crochet and knit. For that I have my Grandma tokens to always cherish. I have my temple apron, my afgan, my baby blanket, my dolls and much more that my grandma has made for me over the years. That she made all her grandchildren. She was very talented!
I love my Grandma and will miss her very much!!
