Busy Bees

WOW! It has been a crazy few weeks! We have had so much going on I can hardly believe it’s already November! This year is just flying by and before we know it we will be welcoming 2010! WOW it’s amazing that it has been 10 years since Y2K. Anyway, sorry, got a little blown away for a second.

Continuing from before…October was crazy and every weekend was something new! The first weekend in October my sister, Michelle and her family came to stay with us in our little apartment! It was nice and cozy, but we were so busy going to Disneyland, Sea World and the Beach we barely had time to worry about everyone fitting, which of course everyone did! We had a great time and I missed them when they left! It’s hard to say goodbye to all their sweet faces!

The next weekend Ethan and I were off to Arizona to participate in Kimball’s baby blessing. We had a great time catching up will all of Ethan’s family, minus our sister-in-law Suzanne (Cam’s wife) and the kids. We missed them though and wished they could have made it. We had a great weekend doing what we do, the girls shop and eat and the guys golf! It was nice to have Ethan spend some quality “MAN” time with his family! The blessing was beautiful and it was nice to have family together for it!

The next weekend was my family again! My brother, Blaine and his wife, Elaina came to San Diego with their newest baby, Kyler. They were celebrating their wedding anniversary and although we only spend one night with them it was still great to see them. Especially since it was the first time we had seen Kyler in person! He’s a cutie of course and definitely has his own face just like the rest of his brothers! It’s so funny how all of their kids look so different!

Then came the weekend with my mom and other brother, Craig and his family. They drove down to San Diego on Wednesday, where we met up with them that night and picked up my mom. Then on Friday we met them again for Sea World (yea twice in 1 month) where we had a great time! Then everyone followed us back to our place for rest and the Beach on Saturday! It was so much fun! My nephew Jared just loves Ethan and I don’t think he was away from his side the entire time they were here. It was so cute! Then my brother and fam left on Sat night and again it was so sad to see them go. But we were lucky enough to have my mom one more day until she flew home on Sunday! It’s hard to say goodbye to my mama!

So with other random things happening in October that’s it in a nutshell! And now it’s November! We have nothing planned so if you want to come visit, we’re here! I’m sad we’re not going to UT for Thanksgiving, but we will improvise with our own glorious meal and hopefully make it for Christmas instead!

I know, I’m such a slacker for not having pictures with this post, but they will come soon enough. I am waiting for pics from my sis!

How fun that you were able to have so much family time in october... i'm sure they will miss you for thanksgiving, but Christmas is just around the corner! I would agree, Blaine and Elaina's boys all have such a different look about them... but their's all so dang cute!
