Tatum Dawn Nelson, born January 5, 2012, at 3:08 am. 6Lbs, 7oz, 19 inches. Mother and baby doing great.
The story was right out of a sitcom. Heather woke me up at about 1:20 am with the classic: "my water just broke; it's time." We called a friend to come stay with Becks and headed for the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at about 2:00 am and began the check-in process. Heather's contractions were coming fast and furious by the time we were set up in a delivery room. Heather asked for an epideral to help with the intense pain. The nurse told us that they could not administer the epideral before Heather's bloodwork returned and then added "but your baby is coming before that happens."
Heather was amazing. My pioneer woman. She began really pushing at about 2:30 am and at 3:08 we had our girl. Not a single pain killer. It was extremely inspiring to watch. Unlike with Becks, who was whisked away to the NICU, Heather got Tatum immediately and didn't let her go for over an hour.
We are so happy to have her with us. It hardly seems real.

She is so adorable!! Congrats and props to Heather!! Becks is looking so grown up now. Can't wait to see you, hopefully soon and meet little Tatum :)
